Ready for the Sunshine!
Spring Break..........it is almost here! I will be leaving for Florida next week to enjoy some much needed sunshine and rest! I initially thought of all of the things that I wanted to do while away, specific restaurants and land marks that I visit each time we are there, etc. but eventually it began to seem overly tiresome and turned out more like a "To do" list of things that when completed, would not leave me at all rested! So, after thinking about my promise to change things in my life, I have decided not to make any plans, besides the location. (!) How's that for Leaping out of my box! Those who know me would say that I am a very well-organized person. I am the one who usually runs everyone's schedule in our home in order to keep things flowing, but for once, I am going to just simply relax. I don't know how things will turn out, but that will be half the fun of it. I am going to be open to new experiences and just leave it to God to do the rest! -Just pray that He doesn't include bungee jumping as a part of my future! Lol! When I return I promise that I am going to work on the technical side of improving my blog so that I will be able to grow and continue meeting new friends! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. I see you did your second post. Yeah...you're on your way to the blogging life. haha
Tracy, I have your name in the Easter swap by Mollye. I know we are not supposed to post until after Easter but I screwed up with shipping and I am so sorry. Please forgive me! I have been in so many swaps where I sent my package and never got one back so please do not think I would ever do that. Even though we all know it is better to give than receive, it's still a bummer not to get a swap package back:-)
So, on that note, I got the items for your basket, packaged them...and it got sidetracked on the way to the post office. (meaning my memory and organization, not to mention my "to-do" list) are all totally messed up! In my very weak defense, this has been a very stressful month but things are better now, hopefully. You should have it within a few days, okay? Please don't think I'm terrible. You sound like a very special person and share many of my thoughts and feelings. Mollye is also a special lady and I blew it:-) I hope this will be okay and that you will enjoy your fun mail when it arrives.
